Το The Observer [Ο Παρατηρητής] είναι ένα από τέσσερα light box με στατικές εικόνες από το βίντεο της Μενλιμπάγεβα Milk for Lambs [Γάλα για αρνιά] (2010). Η ταινία παρακολουθεί τη ζωή γυναικών στις στέπες του Καζακστάν, μέσα από ένα πολύχρωμο υφάδι αναφορών στη νομαδική μυθολογία και τον σαμανισμό, καθώς και τη σοβιετική πολιτιστική κληρονομιά.
